let's start to have a look at the electrical locomotives of the German Federal Railways DB (Deustche Bahn) in the last 50-60 years
I just opened a shunters' collection, starting from the pictures of German ones
This universal electrical engine has been built in more than 450 units between 1975 and 1989 and is still running on Italian rails
Here follow some pictures taken between 1988 and 2007 concerning the different series, differently painted and with a wide variety of trains: enjoy them!

One day dedicated to trains!!!! … Stefano and me met at 6.00 a.m. to reach the railway line entering in Germany from Basel, in Switzerland … we heard that on that line is possible to see several different trains and this is true … in only five hours, from 10.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m, 17 different kind of trains travelled through Efringen-Kirchen station: electric engines family 101 – 110 – 111 – 120 – 140 – 146 – 155 – 185 DB, family 151 and 185 Railion, family E 189 (ES 64 F4) Dispolok, family 421 and 482 SBB-Cargo, electric railcars ICE family 401 (ICE 1) – 403 (ICE 3) – 406 (ICE 3M), diesel railcars family 628/928
Going back home, we stopped at Haltingen and Weil am Rhein in Germany …
